Fall Festival
An annual series of recitals previously held on the last Saturday of October. Due to the Covid pandemic, this is currently a virtual event. It features one Halloween recital and several general recitals. Open to all members' students.
Certificate of Merit
Teachers must be a paid MTAC member by July 31 to register students for this state syllabus program. Student registration occurs between October 1st and 31st. Students are evaluated in technique, theory, ear training, music history and repertoire. Adjudicators are trained by the state MTAC. Due to the Covid pandemic, CM evaluations are conducted by submitting videos and testing online. Entry fees vary by level. Go to mtac.org for more info.

A juried event open to all members' students. Students play 1 or 2 pieces (depending on level) for a member teacher evaluator. Ratings are Superior, Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor. The top three ratings receive medals. Superior-rated students may play on an honors recital that same day. Teachers are required to help on event weekend.
